In the Scriptures Luke 1:35 gives a gentle description of the sleeping Virgin Mary becoming pregnant. Many cultures and religions balked at the idea of the virgin birth because they rejected the thought of God in a sexual act. Now that we have IVF it is easier for us to accept that if it is medically possible for our science to surgically implant an embryo, how can we doubt that God could?
