The Science of Searching

John Calvin’s Chair Church of the Reformation 2009 D V Grieve

How do we believe in a physical God if we can’t see him? Is He really an old guy in robes? Doubtful, but if we truly want to apply scientific thought to his being, first we must accept He is plausible. A real scientist must study, assume, research, seek and theorize who may be plausible. They can not find an answer without first accepting it is possible, otherwise they would not be practicing science at all- they would be practicing a blinder dogma than any person of faith. Once we accept plausibility, the rest is personal research and reading scripture as objectively as you want. And unlike the many brave souls of the Reformation, who brought us a free bible we are not risking death by reading for ourselves!
