God Gave Us A Plan

In all our extreme interpretations of God’s word and all our extreme and lengthy tirades over who gets to be God’s favorite and who gets to go to Heaven we missed the point. Our worldly religious authorities have missed the absolutely pure and perfect plan of god by decreeing their own punishing judgment for whoever does not follow their set of rules. God gave us a game plan and they missed you. Look again at God’s laws. They are simple. God gave Moses The Ten Commandments to be the absolute standard for holiness and goodness. If you could, somehow, follow every single commandment, down to controlling even the thoughts in your head, you would not have ever harmed anyone for any reason in your lifetime. Perfection is never harming anyone, ever. The final judgement is based on the harm you did: not what clothes you wear, not your sexual identity, nor where you worship. You say it is not possible to be perfect, but instead of writing off the Ten Commandments, look further to God’s gift. He gave us a gift, in the form of Jesus that we can ask God for forgiveness for all the harm we have done others and the harm we have done to ourselves. And in His infinite love, He will extend His forgiveness and grace. His plan and His love is waiting for you.

I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future. Then you will call my name. You will come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will search for me. And when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me! Jeremiah 29:11-13
